Unfortunately I - like everyone else - was not allowed to take photos of Prince with my DSLR. I would have loved to do that. Therefore the above photo is a snapshot only, taken with a small even not an high end Nokia mobile.
Anyway, it was all about music played by “real musicians” (© Prince). And Mr. Prince Rogers Nelson proved himself to be not only a great musician but also an excellent singer. The current generation of R&B singers cannot really compete with this 52 years “old” man. Not to forget his style of playing electric guitar. I was a little bit surprised by the opener “Purple Rain” and disappointed about the fact that he did not play so many of his songs. Personally I missed the most “Diamonds and Pearls”, “Question of You”, “Most beautiful girl” and “Sign o’ the times”. In total a nearly three hours live show I am glad to have visited.

Donau City - Wien
Der Bildhauer Bruno Gironcoli ist Freitag Abend gestorben (Standard Artikel).
Wer an seinem Schaffen interessiert ist, hat die Möglichkeit einige seiner monumentalen Skulpturen in der Donau-City zu betrachten. Zudem sendet ORF 2 am Montag den 22. Februar um 23.30 Uhr Otto Brusattis Porträt “Bruno Gironcoli - Der alte Mann und die Ungeborenen”.
