KARO recently launched their KARO Dance Composer Sound Set. RC aka Richard Courtel was the man who produced two audio demos to give you an idea about this new sound library. Oliver Rehn, RO of KARO, made a video which you can find together with RC’s audio demos on KARO’s webpage.

This week was a great one for those who are interested in commercial sounds for KORG’s OASYS. KORG itself released their EXs3 library, KARO their Movie Collection and last but not least another company joined the game. Pro-Sound announced the availability of LD-50. Originally designed for KORG’s LACollection it is now available for OASYS.

With a price of $24,95 you cannot do anything wrong .. I guess this could be misunderstood in being no compliment. But go and check their sounds. You will realise that they are very good and worth every cent! It would be great if Pro-Sound is coming up with some more sounds which are adding another “flavour” to KORG’s flagship.
Hopefully in december I will find the time to record a demo, maybe together with KARO’s Movie Collection which is a great addition as well.Â

RC & KARO collaboration - KARO Virtual Analog
Richard Courtel aka RC-IA and KARO are releasing 128 new Programs for KORG’s OASYS under the name KARO Virtual Analog.
The collection consits of 64 Programs designed by Richard who programmed AL-1 sounds, whereas the remaining 64 programs were designed by Kurt Ader aka medusaland of KARO mostly by using MS-20 & Polysix EXis.
Richard composed and recorded two tracks to give you an idea about the sounds.
Here is track #1 “showing” his AL-1 sounds:
In this demo song you can hear 14 of his 64 AL-1 patches plus one voice and one drum track (= House Kit). No external treatment. It is probably worth to be mentioned that Richard recorded everything within OASYS !
And here comes audio demo #2, composed and recorded by Richard:
In this demo he used 14 programs of KARO’s sounds again together with one vocal and one drum track.
KARO Virtual Analog will be distributed exclusively by KARO sound development.

Richard Courtel aka RC-IA und Kurt Ader aka medusaland haben gemeinsam ein Soundset für KORG’s Flaggschiff fertig gestellt. Die 128 Programs setzen sich aus 64 AL-1 und ebenso vielen Klängen, die zumeist mit den EXis der LACollection (sprich MS-20 und Polysix) programmiert wurden, zusammen.
Damit Sie sich ein “Bild” machen können, gibt es zwei Audiofiles von Richard:
In obigem Audiodemo sind 14 der 64 AL-1 Sounds von Richard zu hören. Zusätzlich hat er je einen Voice und Drum Track eingespielt. Letzterer besteht aus den Sounds des “House Kit”. Alles wurde im OASYS eingespielt und aufgenommen - “no external treatment”.
Hier folgt das Audiodemo der KARO Programs:
Wie im ersten Beispiel wurden 14 Programs eingesetzt, die mit je einer Drum- und Vokalspur ergänzt wurden.
Die 128 Programs werden exklusiv von KARO sound development vertrieben.

OASYS User RC-IA programmed some very good AL-1 sounds, which you can listen to in his mp3 demo.
